The subjects offered at Classical Academy are taught within a Judeo-Christian framework. The values stemming from this tradition are those which undergird the Academy’s standards of conduct and which guide the students’ moral formation. The Academy does not belong to any single denomination, but draw upon early Christian writings and beliefs in the defense of basic Christian principles. Prayers are said at the beginning and conclusion of each day, as well as before lunch. Once a week, prayers, bible readings, singing, and other activities are performed for the duration of one class period. This is the only time religious instruction is required for students at Classical Academy. However, additional theological classes are offered every year for those students who desire to increase their understanding of Holy Scripture, the Patristics, the spiritual life, and other theological material.
Classical Academy is nondenominational. However, the Academy does align itself with five fundamental Christian beliefs:
